Sociology

The aim of sociology, across the key stages,  is to develop students' criticality on a variety of issues relating to society and the individual. In sociology we develop students' abilities to write discursively encompassing an understanding of theoretical approaches and sociological method which is applied through historical and contemporary examples drawn from a variety of sources.

The specification followed is AQA for both GCSE and A-Level. Students can pick this up as an AS subject.
