Collecting donations for Slough Refugee Support
The school's ICT department is organising a collection starting on Monday (December 5) to be donated to Slough Refugee Support.
There will be boxes in the reception area of the school to receive donations up until Tuesday December 13.
Please bring in what you can, focussing on toiletries, books, puzzles, confectionery, and warm clothing. The donations will have a children focus.
Slough Refugee Support works to address the needs of refugees and asylum seekers. Established in 1997 it provides a number of services for those in need within the community. It has a great understanding of how to support these groups, and how to help them to settle into the local community.
By donating whatever you can, the school will be able to make Christmas a little bit brighter for children who have come hundreds of miles to escape some terrible conditions in their home countries.
